8. Scottish Parliament and Local Government Elections: 1 May 2003: Polling Places
Submit report by the Chief Executive to advise the Council that the Polling Places intended for use on 1 May 2003 will be the same as those used for the General Election in 2001, with one exception (copy enclosed).

10. Motions
In terms of Standing Order No. 14, submit Motion by Councillor Wilkinson and seconded by Councillor Marshall in the following terms: -
"The Conservative Group calls on North Ayrshire Council to reconsider its proposal to introduce a centralised call centre system in Irvine. This will lead to a reduction in face to face contact between the public and officials and probable loss of future local employment opportunities. We call on the Administration to state the estimated cost of the call centre and to clearly explain how this centre will deliver better value and service than efficient local offices".

Councillors Munro, Browne and McDougall will take questions on the Role of Housing Associations in North Ayrshrie.
