Conservation Areas are areas of special architectural or historic interest that we feel we need to look after. There are 13 Conservation Areas in North Ayrshire.
In a Conservation Area you may need planning permission for certain things that you wouldn't normally need it for:

You will also need permission to demolish a building or to carry out works on trees.
