ePlanning introduces standards that streamline the Planning process, enhancing service by ensuring greater openness and accountability

 

ePlanning consists of two main components:

 

1. Scottish Planning Online| - to submit a planning application.

 

2. Online Planning Information System |- to view, track and comment on online planning applications.

Information relating to the 'List of Applications' that the Council is required to maintain and publish in accordance with Regulations 21 and 22 of The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2008| is also available.

 

We require to maintain a Planning Register and publish it on the Internet.

 

Privacy Policy

The Council's website privacy policy| sets out the Council's handling of information in relation to its website and the Data protection Act.  The Council has also set out a privacy policy specific to the electronic handling of planning applications| and this should be viewed in conjunction with the main policy text.

"Plans, drawings and other material submitted to North Ayrshire Council are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (section 47). Planning Register

The Register includes those applications which appear in both Part I, that is, those applications not finally disposed of, and Part II of the Register, that is, those determined by the Council. Please note that, once the period for a challenge to a decision has passed and the application has been finally disposed of, the application will no longer be published on these web pages. This is to meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

The complete, historic Planning Register is available for viewing at the offices of the Planning Authority at Cunninghame House, Friars Croft, Irvine, KA12 8EE between the hours of Monday to Thursday 9 am to 4:45 pm and Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm.
